·         All players can check in to receive their numerous tee gifts.

• The STPGA is currently working with a few golf coaches and PGA Tour players as well to come speak at the Championship.

Demo Day                                                                                                                           Driving Range

·         Just like at a Tour event, we will have numerous manufacturing companies on hand for the players to enjoy hitting different clubs and testing them out.

·         Parents and family are welcome to participate.

Academy Sports + Outdoor Putting Contest                                                        Practice Putting Green

·         The Southern Texas PGA Junior Golf Program title sponsor will be running a putting contest.

·         The putting contest is a 6-hole putt-putt course on the putting green.

·         The putting contest will be a fun contest for all players.  .    

Insperity Championship Chipping Contest                                                           Practice Chipping Green

·        Players will be given three chances to try to get the ball as close to the hole as possible.

·         If golf is your passion, make it your career!

·         Sam Houston State University will be on hand to talk to parents and players about the opportunity to go to college and earn your undergraduate degree and at the same time become a PGA Professional.

·         When you hear the bagpipes start to play, please make your way over to the grandstand area for the opening ceremony.

·         We will start the evening with announcements about what to expect over the course of the next two days and acknowledgment of the sponsors.

·         We will also have a guest speaker that will talk to the parents and players.
